A disruption in the way we learn about business.

In my last article, I spoke about my new endeavor that I was taking on. I was joining ThePowerMBA to brush up my know-how and knowledge about business.

As a brand designer I always felt the need to get a deeper understanding about business so that I can provide more meaningful solutions to my clients.

I’m not going to lie, when I was told that I can spend roughly 20 minutes a day and learn about business, I was skeptical to say the least. I’ve tried many courses prior and they all claimed similar promises. Let’s just say they didn’t…

A disruption in the way we learn about business.

Let’s face it, the educational system is changing. The days of “opportunity” have never been more promising. About 30 percent of the students indicate they are bored due to lack of interaction with teachers and 75 percent report material being taught is not interesting.

With new rising courses taught by people who have been in the field and have real world experiences is an absolute game changer. When I went to school for design, there was nothing that prepared me for the “business of design” and the real world challenges of being a freelancer.
